It was a very pleasant experience. The guided tour was very thorough, with plenty of explanations about the orchards and old wine press. I didn’t know there were 5 different types! I thought they were all the same. Lunch was also delicious (especially the olive oil on the side). I loved the white wines. A great tour!
Wine tours are always lovely, but this one took the cake! You stroll through literal hills of olive trees, grape orchards, beehives… I thought fairies would jump out. Even the car ride was magical. We passed through such a charming town. Plus, the pick-up and drop-off were right on time and very easy to organize. Altogether a great visit.

WANDER AROUND THE BEAUTIFUL GROVES
After arriving at the farm, your host will show you its exterior. Stroll past vineyards, olive trees, friendly animals, beehives, and more. On a clear day, you’ll also get breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. As you walk, your guide will explain traditional grape-picking techniques and show you long-handled clippers, a tool used to snip the stems of bunches of fruit off the vine.
ENJOY DELICIOUS RED WINE
The Sorrento Wine Tour then continues to the wine cellar. With 4 generations of family members running the farm, the cellar is ancient, but still produces delicious red wine! Try it out yourself, and enjoy the rich, tart taste! The secret? A traditional wine press. The press exerts pressure to release the juice from the grapes, while ensuring no seeds and undesirable tannins enter the wine.
TUCK INTO A TASTY LUNCH
Your tour ends with a 2-course lunch. For the first course, you can expect a filling dish made with seasonal ingredients: for example, pasta bolognese or a caprese salad during the summer, when tomatoes are in season. After that, satisfy your sweet tooth with a citrusy lemon dessert. Throughout the lunch, you’ll be poured homemade red wine to quench your thirst.
RETURN TO SORRENTO WITH A FULL STOMACH

Joining a Sorrento Wine Tour is also a wonderful way to discover local flavors and traditions, and one of the most authentic experiences when you visit Amalfi Coast.

Did you know that Sorrento has been famous for its wine since antiquity?
Sorrento has been famous for its wine since antiquity, with vineyards thriving in the volcanic soil influenced by nearby Mount Vesuvius. The same land shaped the history of Pompeii, making wine and archaeology closely connected in this region. That’s why many travelers choose to combine a Sorrento Wine Tour with a Pompeii day tour from Sorrento. You can also book a Pompeii tour from Positano or from Amalfi, both great options for exploring the ruins while enjoying the beauty and traditions of the coast.
