I’m basically the next Stanley Tucci

I consider myself a decent cook, but I’ve never made pizza (or bread) because I just find the dough intimidating. Not anymore! The pizza came out tasting amazing, and I’m so proud of myself! Very grateful to Anna and her family, they were excellent teachers, very patient, relaxed, and great at explaining the cooking instructions and techniques.

Very interesting cooking class!

I’m a disaster in the kitchen, but the family was so helpful and nice that I managed to put together a decent pizza. They were also nice enough to take photos of me, my dad wouldn’t believe me otherwise! I also loved the pickup and drop-off. It was a nice drive, and made the entire experience super easy.

DESCRIPTION

Cooking Class Sorrento

FIND OUT THE INNER WORKINGS OF THE FARMHOUSE

After arriving at the farm, you’ll first be treated to a welcome drink. As you sip your aperitif, listen as your hosts share the farmhouse’s history, explain which produce they grow, describe each family member’s daily tasks, and more! It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the inner workings of a traditional Italian farm.

MAKE A DELICIOUS PIZZA

In the Cooking Class Sorrento, you’ll be mastering a typical Italian meal: pizza! Begin by making authentic Neapolitan-style pizza dough, keeping it light, springy, and airy. As it rises, you’ll be making the sauce: a traditional Italian tomato sauce, made from fresh, homegrown tomatoes. Then you’re free to choose your toppings from a varied selection, before popping everything into a traditional wooden pizza oven. The end result? A perfect pizza!

ENJOY A TRADITIONAL ITALIAN DINNER

After cooking the pizza comes the best part: eating the pizza! Your farm-to-table experience finishes with a delicious 3-course meal. Start with cured meats and fresh mozzarella produced right there on the farm, and then dive into your very own gourmet pizza. Finally, end the meal with a traditional dessert. Water and local wine will be served alongside the food, making for a truly decadent experience.

DRIVE BACK TO SORRENTO

After finishing your meal, we’ll take you back to Sorrento. As you travel, lean back and watch the passing picturesque countryside. The ride will be a welcome rest, you’ll probably be completely full!
